Alan is a small village near our place in Mondavezan in the Haute-Garonne department (South West France).
Something nostalgic comes out of this quiet place. On the square several buildings seem abandoned. Rusted advertising signs are still on the walls. The light blue paint is peeling off more and more from doors and shutters.
Of course not everything is abandoned in Alan, far from it! However I spent more time looking and photographing the details that remind me that time flies. And I can’t help wondering how this village looked like in the past.
Here are a few random images from one of my visits in Alan, in the middle of winter.
