I had stopped a few times in Saint-Gaudens, without really taking the time to discover the city centre. That was my loss! I’ve recently spent a day in this town, just to relax and wander around, taking pictures of what attracted my eyes: the church and its cloister, the esplanade and its staircase, the little streets and their local shops, the random and bright flowers, etc.
The view on the Pyrenees mountains is beautiful, even with that smoky paper factory (almost). Actually on that particular day, the tracks of smoke seemed to join the clouds in the sky, which I thought was beautiful. Sometimes ugly and beautiful manage to go well together…
