This beautiful autumn wedding happened last October. It’s been already almost a year. To celebrate their first wedding anniversary, I’m taking you today to the beautiful day of Aurélie and Pierrick.
First sight of bride and groom
It’s in their family home in Labarthe-Inard, near Saint-Gaudens, that Aurélie abd Pierrick got ready. It’s also there that they saw each other for the first time in their special-day outfits. Aurélie was wearing a gorgeous dress with lace and a long train, from Mariée du Sud; Pierrick a simple suit with a bow tie, and the accessory I love: the beret!

Car decoration
Their car was a 2CV Dolly all pretty and decorated with flowers, in warm colours. It was waiting for them in front of the house, to bring them to the town hall.

Civil ceremony
The gorgeous Aurélie, in the company of her bridesmaids and her dad, had a spectacular arrival at the town hall square.
After a simple and touching ceremony, the children had fun blowing their soap bubbles at the newlyweds as they got out of the hall. And the bigger ones had their own fun attaching the tin cans at the back of the Dolly!

Outdoor ceremony
The civil ceremony was followed by an outdoor ceremony in a woody park near the town hall. Their families and friends told stories about them with humour, kindness and emotion. The bride and groom also exchanged their vows and their wedding rings. What a lovely time!
Ribbons, pompoms, flowers, feathers, dreamcatchers, with soft and pastel tones, had been attached to tree branches to personalise and decorate their ceremony.

Couple session
Aurélie and Pierrick are two adorable people, who complement each other to perfection! We took some time apart together away from the guests for their couple session. We highlighted Aurélie’s majestic dress, that fitted her so well, their sets of tattoos, and especially their complicity.

Cocktail decoration
Their cocktail decoration was full of lovely ideas. The used colours were both fresh with pink and white, and warm with orange and autumn tones. Original addition: the direction signs with city names, and a pirate symbol right at the top.
Tattoo bar
The tattoo bar! The idea that is enjoyed by adults and children alike. It’s the opportunity for the guests to decorate their skin, for the day, for the night. The tattoo bar of Aurélie and Pierrick was very varied, elegant and modern, and people loved it.
Throwing the bouquet and the beret
It’s not only ladies who have the honour of fighting, jumping, grabbing, to finally catch what’s being thrown at them! Men also had the chance to do the same with the beret of the groom.

Table decoration
The dining room and tables were full of ribbons, vegetation, lace, flowers, in pastel colours. Each table had its city name with the assorted decoration. Big Ben for London, a small bicycle for Amsterdam, etc…

Kids’ tables
Children were not forgotten when preparing the room decoration: a corner for colouring, on an old school bench, and a corner for sweets and treats were reserved for them!

Photobooth table
A photobooth table for the guests to take selfies and leave beautiful memories to the married couple. Accessories were made of strong kraft paper: hats, glasses, bow ties, suitcases, etc… Shooting was done with disposable cameras, allowing guests to take pictures wherever they wanted!

Wedding guest book
And the guest book!! Richly decorated with the same pastel tones, with seasonal vegetation, and of course a beautiful guest book.

Well done to both of you, Aurélie & Pierrick, for this splendid wedding!! I smile looking at all your pictures again. I’m taking this opportunity to wish you a very happy first anniversary!!
