The wedding ceremony of Kathleen and Michael was a very special and sweet one. They wanted to be in a beautiful and peaceful place to celebrate their love, in a simple way. Broome was the perfect place for them 🙂 It was also the opportunity to celebrate Kathleen’s pregnancy and take a few maternity shots.

Kathleen’s dad was the only guest and I was proud to be their second witness, on top of being their photographer. The ceremony was under a pretty little gazebo at Cable Beach Resort, which was followed by an escape on the beach with the two lovers… in flip flops!

We were particularly lucky with the light on the beach that day. At this time of the year, controlled burns of land are common in the region. This produces a lot of smoke in the sky miles around, creating warm and pastel tints at sunset.
